Today, we’re gonna talk about directing, and then we’re gonna watch short films, and then choose the final topic of film.

Directing: Be open to various styles and techniques, and encourage creativity within the team to enhance the film's overall vision.

Communicating your expectations as a director to the actor is an incredibly different thing.

The biggest questions actors ask are often about their character's motivations and how they fit into the film's overall narrative. Dramatic need is derived from dramatic flaw; understanding this connection is essential for actors to grasp their character's journey and transformation throughout the story.

Actors should be able to answer those same 35 questions as we did in the first exercise class.
