Test Taking Strategies

When taking tests, if your mind races, your hands sweat, you can’t breathe, you second guess, you forget simple things, and you feel behind/start comparing yourself to those around you, you might have test anxiety.

To help with test anxiety, over prepare, do the basics like get enough sleep and eat a good breakfast, read directions, look over the whole test before starting, do easy questions first, focus on yourself, stay calm and positive, and eliminate choices that are absolutely incorrect when you’re stuck on a question.
