They took a linen cloth and rolled him up. They also took another piece of cloth to cover his head. They would cut the cloth up to tie it around his body ( the big one not the head one). They would take the body to the tomb, leave it for a year, then after a year they would wash the bones.

Since jesus died so late, they couldnt do everything in one day, and the next day was the sabbath, so they did what they could and then would have a proper burial later, and he was buried in a borrowed tomb.
