Negative informal endings

• -ar verbs turn into their yo form and get -es endings

• -ir and -er verbs turn into their yo form and get -as endings

• they have opposite endings

  • e.g - No me mirar → No me miro → No me mires

Negative commands starting

always start with “No”

Negative commands structure

• No + pronoun + conjugated verb

• e.g - ¡No me comas!

Negative ir

ir → no vayas

Negative ser

ser → no seas

Negative saber

saber → no sepas

Negative estar

estar → no estés *don’t forget accent

Affirmative tense

• Always in 3rd person present tense

• El/Ella form

• e.g - ¡Come!, ¡Habla!

Affirmative commands structure

• Pronoun attached to the end

  • e.g - ¡Dime!, ¡Llevaló! (sometimes accent is added at the end to maintain stress on vowel)
