Sphere
Sphere is one of Earth major systems, (Atmosphere,Hydrosphere, biosphere and lithosphere(geosphere) which interact to support life and shape the earth.
Atmosphere(gases and air)
Atmosphere is mixture of gases and air, with 78% of nitrogen, with 21% oxygen, and less than 1% of argon. It also has traces of carbon dioxide, nitrous oxides, methane and ozone. It is made of several layers including, troposphere, stratosphere, mesosphere, thermosphere, and exosphere
Biosphere ( living organisms )
The biosphere is the thin layer of the earth where life can exist. It is made up of all living organisms on the planet including, plants, animals, and microorganisms. Which are fungi, bacteria, archaea ,and protists
Hydrosphere (water source )
The hydrosphere is all water on Earth, including the oceans, rivers, lakes, groundwater and water in the atmosphere. It supports all life, regulates climate by absorbing and spreading heat, and shapes the land and creates habitats through water movement like the water cycle.
Geosphere (land formation )
The geosphere is the Earths rock and mineral layers, including crust, mantle, and core. It chases landforms, support life, and provides essential resources like minerals and fossil fuels.
Lithosphere (rocks(part of geosphere)
The lithosphere is Earth’s outer layer including crust and upper mantle. It’s spilt into tectonic plates, where earthquakes and volcanic often happen
Troposphere (one of atmosphere layers)
The troposphere is Earths lowest atmosphere layer, reaching 6-20 km of the Earths surface. It’s where all weather usually occurs and where the water cycle occurs takes place. Water evaporates, rises, forming clouds through condensation, and falls as rain, snow, or other precipitation. It’s made mostly of nitrogen and oxygen, plus small amounts of water vapour, carbon dioxide, and methane.
Stratosphere (second of one of atmosphere layers)
The stratosphere is the second layer of earths atmosphere, extending from 20-50 km from earths surface. It contains high concentration of ozone, which absorbs harmful radiation from the sun. Temperature here rises with altitude as ozone absorbs solar heat, creating a stable layer that’s doesn’t mis easily with air below and helps regulate Earths temperature
