Yes, since schools are still segregated due to the red lining or whatever it was called. Because of this, families who were poor then from the racist laws, usually black families, are stuck at low end schools and housing areas. That was what the Black Panthers fought for, but because of inflation, equaling out the cost of living in the green and red areas has made the difference more drastic
