Creed
A formal statement of faith or beliefs, often summarizing key Christian doctrines.
Trinitarian
Relating to the Trinity, the Christian doctrine that defines God as three distinct persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
Faith
Complete trust or confidence in someone or something, particularly in a religious context.
Justification
The act by which a person is made deserving of salvation, often described in terms of being declared righteous by God.
Atonement
The reconciliation between God and humanity brought by the death of Jesus Christ.
Resurrection
The act of rising from the dead, particularly in reference to Jesus Christ's return to life after crucifixion.
Incarnation
The belief that God became flesh in the person of Jesus Christ.
Holy Spirit
The third person of the Trinity, viewed as an active presence in the world and in the lives of believers.
Eschatology
The part of theology concerned with the final events of history, or the ultimate destiny of humanity.
Catholic Church
Refers to the universal church, not limited to any single denomination, encompassing all believers regardless of specific church affiliation.
Idolatry
The worship of idols or anything that takes the place of God in a person's life.
Salvation
Deliverance from sin and its consequences, often regarded as being brought about by faith in Christ.
Almighty
Having complete power; often used to refer to God's omnipotence in Christianity.
Forgiveness
The act of pardoning an offense or wrong.
Everlasting Life
The promise of eternal life for believers, often associated with heaven and communion with God.
Apostolic Tradition
The transmission of beliefs and practices from the apostles, considered essential in both Roman Catholicism and Eastern Orthodox Christianity.
Sovereignty
The supreme power and authority of God over creation.
Communion of Saints
The spiritual union of all members of the Christian community, both living and dead, in Christ.
