Truth

The reality that truth describes. A reality that exists regardless of one's own thoughts, feelings, preferences, or knowledge of it.

Objective Reality

A point of view from one's thoughts, feelings, perceptions, and knowledge.

Subjective Opinion

True understanding of a certain reality or realities. When what we think corresponds to what is real, we possess knowledge.

Knowledge

Process of investigation into reality through observation and experiment.

Science

Proposed explanation of observed reality that forms the basis for further investigation and experimentation to prove or falsify the claim.

Hypothesis

Something we can grasp by use of our five senses.

Sensible Reality

Powers of the mind, or intellect, to know and understand through the process of logic.

Reason

Logical process that draws a probable conclusion based on particular evidence.

Inductive Reasoning

Ability to immediately understand something, often by "gut feeling" or instinct, without needing to think about it.

Intuition

"Love of Wisdom" - Study of ultimate reality and its causes by human reason alone.

Philosophy

A branch of philosophy that studies moral quality of human nature, what leads to human happiness and flourishing, and what harms us.

Ethics

The study of God based on divine revelation.
