take a fresh sample and flame test: green to gold flame = confirmed

Cu2+

take a fresh sample and flame test: blue-green flame = confirmed

Ba2+

take a fresh sample and flame test: apple green flame = confirmed

take a fresh sample and flame test: brick red flame = confirmed

Pb2+

take a fresh sample and add NaI: yellow precipitate = confirmed

Fe3+

take a fresh sample and add KSCN: blood red solution = confirmed

Mg2+

add NaI: no precipitate = confirmed

Ag+

if used NaCl to identify (i.e has AgCl precip) then shine UV: darkens = conirmed

CO3 2-

take a fresh sample and limewater test: milky = confirmed

SO4 2-

add H+ / Ca(NO3)2: white precipitate3 = confirmed

Cl-

if used AgNO3 to identify (i.e has AgCl) then shine UV light: dissolves and darkens = confirmed

Br-

take a fresh sample and add Pb(NO3)2: white precipitate = confirmed

I-

take a fresh sample and add Pb(NO3)2: yellow precipitate = confirmed

PO4 3-

take a fresh sample and add (NH4)2MoO4: yellow precipitate = confirmed

OH-
