2-mark questions

5-mark questions
An explain or describe question about a specific teaching or idea that does not require evaluation or analysis.
8-mark question
A question that asks for different views or ideas on a topic, requiring at least 4 fully developed points without evaluation.
PACE paragraph
The structure for an evaluation question responding to a statement, standing for Point, Argument, Counter, and Evaluation.
Universal Declaration of Human Rights
A key document studied in Topic 1 concerning human rights and social justice.
Secularization
A concept relating to the role of religion in modern British society and recent census data.
Poverty types and causes
A study area in Topic 1 that includes religious beliefs and teachings about wealth and poverty.
Just War theory
A specific theory of conflict and morality included under Topic 2: Peace & Conflict.
WMDs
Weapons of Mass Destruction, studied alongside nuclear weapons in the Peace & Conflict topic.
Pacifism

Holy War
