“We compared three design options: underground cables, solar micro-grids, and overhead power distribution poles.

Using a systematic assessment method, we rated each option against cost, safety, and practicality.
1st
The overhead cluster system proved most feasible — it uses insulated poles connected to a prepaid cluster breaker box that distributes power safely to several households.
2nd
As you can see in our sketch, electricity flows from the main supply to a reinforced concrete pole, through insulated cables into a prepaid breaker box, and then into homes in a controlled and protected way.

For implementation, this design can be introduced in phases — starting with areas most affected by fire risks. Poles and boxes can be installed along existing pathways, and local electricians can assist with wiring and testing to make the process community-led and sustainable.”
