Sinusoidal Signal

A periodic signal described by sine or cosine functions.

A*cos(ω0*t + φ)

Amplitude A

Controls the peak value of the sinusoid.

Angular Frequency ω0

Determines how fast the sinusoid oscillates, measured in radians per second

Phase Angle φ

Shifts the sinusoid left or right in time.

A sinusoidal signal defined over integer indices.

Exponentially Damped Sinusoid

A sinusoidal signal whose amplitude decreases exponentially over time.

Used to multiply two vectors element by element.

Discrete-Time Exponentially Damped Sinusoid
