What is hip dysplasia?
A syndrome leading to arthritis, influenced by laxity, environment, and nutrition

What is a ortilani sign?
Hold back with one hand and adduct knee towards center line pushing hands together. When you put it back down and there is a pop then there is hip luxation
What is a barden’s test?
Lift knee with finger while thumb is resting on trochanter. If there is movement then there is luxation
How do OFA grades work?
Passing: excellent, good, fair
Dysplastic: Mild, moderate, severe
Have OFA grades decreased hip dysplasia rates in breeds?
