• Hands, feet, and mouth are set to be natural instruments by default

• Shouting for one’s victory means honouring Him.

• A delicate and serious ministry

• A sensitive ministry because it is a ministry in the Presence of God

Worship Leading

• It is teamwork

• The one who leading has the most responsibility of all

Key things to consider in Worship leading:

1. Preparation

2. Seriousness of the ministry

5. The flow of the Spirit

Worship Leading (#1 Preparation)

• We need to consecrate (declare something sacred, holy) ourselves

• We need to revere Him honouring God to the highest respect

• Before we stand, we need to ask God to cleanse us. Do not underestimate God

• Music ministry should be obedient and not rebellious.

• Be willing to be corrected and disciplined

• Preparation includes the state of the heart, the mind, and our spiritual being

• Involves practice, dedication, obedience, submission, and commitment

• Commitment is needed in music ministry

Worship Leading (#2 Seriousness of the Worship Ministry)

• There is peace, joy, love, and righteousness in the presence of God

• The responsibility of the worship leader is very heavy. God must be revered

• If worship is taken lightly, you are taking God for granted and treating Him as small and of no value

• People who come to the presence of God are hungry and thirsty for God

• Worship leaders should think of the people who are hungry and who are in need of healing, comfort, love, and peace

• Holiness has a big part of worship ministry

• Divided heart disqualifies one be committed. Do not allow your pride to rule over you

Worship Leading (#3 The Privilege)

• It is not for everyone

• There is a prescribed way

• There’s no self-appointment

• Worship leaders are appointed by authority/Pastor

• Do you best if appointed by authority

Worship Leading (#4 Heart of Worship)

• Heart must be right with God

• Must have fear of the Lord

• Be humble

• Need to be submissive and obedient

• Need to be a servant

• Need to be committed

• Must be a giver

• Need to know how to sacrifice

• Having these qualities, we will be great in the eyes of the Lord

Worship Leading (#5 Flow of the Holy Spirit)

• Music is a ministry of flowing

• The Holy Spirit always leads us to fully follow the Word of God

• If God’s presence comes down, He takes charge and there will be a manifestation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit

• Spirituality of the worship leader is very important to maintain the flow of the Holy Spirit

• Connection with your Pastor is important

• Preparing a line up is like preparing a message

Worship Leading (#6 Goal)

• The flow of the Holy Spirit is our goal. The Shekinah Glory.

• A concert is different from a worship service

• We follow the Tabernacle

• Tabernacle is the pattern of worship God has given us to follow

• Outer Courts: Praise & Up Beat Songs (Horizontal Songs)

• Holy Place: Worship & Solemn Songs (Vertical Songs)

• Most Holy Place: Free Worship & Singing New Songs (Singing in Tongues)

• Speak of who God is and what He has done which is being addressed to the people or congreation

Why is prayer not answered and how can prayer be answered?

• Man became sinful and wicked and is no longer a son of God, and our sins hide the face of God so that God does not hear a man’s prayers

• If man repents and turns to God, his face will be revealed hearing our prayers

• Obedience is what is credited as righteousness

What is Fasting?

• Voluntary abstinence from food and other legitimate enjoyments like social media & things that are not helpful for our spiritual purposes

• Expressing humility towards God

• To draw closer to God, centering one’s heart and mind to Him

• Because of Great need and to express concern for the work of the Lord

• To strengthen prayer

• To seek God’s guidance

• Seek divine deliverance

• Express humility and repentance

• Overcome temptation and dedicate oneself to God

• Express love and devotion to God
