Explain DNA replication
DNA replication happens in the synthesis
DNA replication Steps:
DNA replication begins at an origin of replication steps. DNA helicase begins to separate the hydrogen bonds while topoisomerase begins to help unwind the strands. DNA primase - primers is the original DNA strand to allow new nucleotides in the DNA. Polymers work from 5’ to 3’ IT creates a side that joins free floating DNA quickly. The leading strand continuous to work forward as it replicates. The lagging strand is more complicated, small sections are made called Okazaki fragments which join together. DNA ligase bonds together the unjointed sections of newly made strands.
DNA replication happens/necessar so each new cell gets the same set of instructions as the original cell.
